We are all messy. We are all imperfect. We are all human.
Sometimes we need a little guidance. I like to think of myself as someone who can relate to a diverse group of clients. I am just like you. I have experienced many losses and my share of joy. My therapy style is genuine and judgment-free. If I haven't seen or lived it, I have heard it! In that regard, I am energizing and motivating. My goal is to help clients who feel stuck in their lives.
I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) and a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Santa Barbara, California.
I have provided clinical counseling services at Santa Barbara's Mental Wellness Center, Fellowship Club, Gardens on Hope, and groups with the Parkinson's Association of Santa Barbara. I am currently working on my clinical hours, as supervised by Gary Linker, PhD, LMFT 11832, as an Associate in his private practice.
I enjoy traveling, snorkeling, Koei Kan Karate, science fiction, and hanging out with my family and pets.
I was born into a multicultural family and raised between England and the United States. I like to think of myself as someone that can relate to clients from diverse backgrounds. I am human, just like you and I've had my share of sadness and my share of joy. I was widowed at an early age but I am blessed with a beautiful family. I enjoy talking to people from all different backgrounds and cultures.
